Care
instructions.
Machined aluminum asks very little of you. Here is all of it.
General Cleaning
To keep your Syn Tin in top condition, follow these simple cleaning steps:
- Rinse with Warm Water: Use warm water to remove any dust or debris.
- Mild Soap & Soft Cloth: Apply a few drops of mild dish soap to a soft cloth or sponge. Gently wipe the tin to clean the surface.
- Avoid Abrasive Materials: Do not use steel wool, scouring pads, or harsh brushes, as they may scratch the anodized aluminum.
- Dry Immediately: After cleaning, wipe dry with a microfiber cloth or let it air dry completely. This prevents water spots and preserves the finish.
Cleaning the Laser-Engraved Surface
The laser engraving on your Syn Tin may collect residue over time. To keep it looking sharp:
- Use Isopropyl Alcohol (Rubbing Alcohol): Apply 70% or higher isopropyl alcohol to a cotton swab or microfiber cloth. Gently wipe the engraved area to remove dirt or discoloration. This ensures the engraving remains crisp without damaging the anodized surface.
- For Stubborn Residue: Use a soft toothbrush with a few drops of alcohol to reach into the engraving. Lightly scrub and wipe clean.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do bleach, ammonia, or acidic cleaners, as they may damage the anodized finish.
